Small Business Website Design FAQ

  • I build exclusively on Squarespace. After a decade of building on WordPress and trying other platforms, I found Squarespace to be the most flexible for design, and the easiest for clients to maintain.

  • We can transfer any domain over to Squarespace! When we get ready to launch, I'll work through this process with you so you can keep your current domain.

  • We can build your new site without affecting the live site. If you have a website on Squarespace 7.1 we can also discuss a refresh.

  • No you don’t! In fact, editing on Squarespace is a lot like editing on Canva. I provide training and support resources to make sure you feel comfortable learning how to use your new website.

  • The length of time depends on how many pages you need, if you have your website content (images/copy/etc) ready to go, and how quickly you get back to me with edits. I will begin your website design immediately following our kickoff call.

  • You will need to provide branded images, website copy, and other content. I will help you gather this prior to our kickoff meeting. I can use placeholder content for anything that isn’t ready, but I recommend having as much content ready to go before the kickoff meeting as possible.

  • For as long as your website is live, I am here for you. I offer a very inexpensive client support package if you'd like a little assistance, or you can just reach out if/when you need something.

  • Your Squarespace website will be hosted through Squarespace. They have several hosting pricing plans and we can build your website accordingly. This will replace your current hosting.
