Pete Giuliani Music
Guitarist Pete Giuliani is a local celebrity in Durango, Colorado. I’ve watched his name show up in the paper for two decades. When he reached out to me about some updates to his current Squarespace website, I couldn’t wait to get to know him!
With a full studio of guitar students and regular gigs, Pete needed his website that would better reflect him as a professional musician. He didn’t resonate with his current Squarespace website visually and the content had gotten out of date. We discussed the changes he wanted in his website and how it needed to serve him as a musician.
The kicker was our 1-1 meeting. I got to know Pete, and his business Pete Giuliani Music, on a deeper new level. Once we finished speaking about who he was as a musician, as a person, and as a teacher, it was clear the website needed a design overhaul too.
The new branding on this website was an interesting challenge. Pete had a beautiful logo designed for him that incorporated the full range of the color spectrum. This was a critical branding element. I wanted to incorporate a range of color into his site, without distracting from the content.
We also added an event page that came with video instructions (so Pete can add events any time he likes), and a consolidated navigation for a better user experience. I compressed all of his images, optimzied the site for better SEO, synced it up to Search Console, and redesigned each page creating a custom cohesive template.
