Colorado Wolf Information Project
The Colorado Wolf Information Project needed a clean, user-friendly website to serve as a trusted source for research and education on gray wolves in Colorado. With a neutral color palette and big imagery, the design keeps the focus on these iconic animals while ensuring an intuitive experience for both academic and general audiences.
To support their mission of dispelling misconceptions and promoting science-based information, we built a dedicated science blog for researchers to share findings, an education page for accessible learning, a donation page to help build financial security, and a research section to highlight ongoing studies. We used a slightly different layout approach on each page based on the two types of audiences that would be navigating the website—both non-academics and academics.
The site was fully SEO-optimized to improve visibility on Google, including Google Analytics and Search Console integration. Future plans include an interactive map feature for tracking gray wolf populations.
This custom Squarespace website project blends science, education, and digital strategy to create a lasting resource for wolf conservation efforts in Colorado. We provided extensive 1-1 training so that the organization can maintain their own website without any ongoing costs.
