SCS Construction Consulting Services
SCSCorp is a construction consulting company located in Durango, Colorado. They originally had a website on WordPress. However, after a few years, they returned to their website and found it was incredibly difficult to make even the smallest changes.
We discussed a few options and determined transferring their website over to Squarespace would be the best fit. This would allow them to easily maintain and edit their site for the long-term, in addition to giving us a platform to make layout and UX updates on.
I build this website on Squarespace with the same functionality and design as their previous WordPress website, but with an updated layout for better conversions and user experience. We combined their services page and portfolio page to eliminate some click-throughs. The portfolio page was built to retain the same function as on WordPress, but with an updated gallery popup with thumbnails to encourage scrolling.
As a bonus, I built out several sections using Global sections so testimonials and bank partners could be updated in one location and reflect throughout 4+ pages without having to do individual updates on each page.
This website transfer came complete with basic SEO optimization, full functionally transfer, access to my Launch Library and several additional custom tutorial videos, and Google Analytics and Search Console setup.
